Traction Lifts in Nigeria

Compare traction lift options when planning passenger movement for your building. Bring the layout, intended use and electrical requirements together before selecting a configuration.

What a traction lift describes

Traction is a drive-system category. It is different from labels such as passenger, hospital or panoramic, which describe use or architectural treatment. The same proposal can therefore be a passenger traction lift with a particular cabin and entrance design.

Machine room and MRL configurations

A machine-room-less layout can avoid a separate conventional machine room, but it still has equipment-space and maintenance-access requirements. It does not mean the lift needs no shaft, pit or overhead space.

Ask which configuration is being proposed and request the corresponding layout. Do not transfer dimensions from another product or assume all traction models are MRL.

Define the specification before comparing prices

Tell ROTA the building use, project city, stops and expected traffic. The proposal should identify its rated load, speed, entrance arrangement and electrical requirements, alongside the building works that remain outside the lift scope.

Plan the operating arrangements

Discuss the proposed power supply, behaviour during an outage, handover information and maintenance arrangements. Keep rescue functionality separate from any requirement for sustained operation on standby power.
