Thermally Broken Aluminium Systems in Nigeria
Bring thermal-performance requirements into the selection of aluminium framing. Discuss the complete opening, including glass and configuration, rather than selecting a frame label in isolation.
Specify the actual framing system
Ask for the proposed thermally broken profile system and its relevant documentation to be identified in the project proposal.
Assess the complete window or door
Frame construction, glazing, opening arrangement and installation interfaces all contribute to the complete assembly. A thermally broken label alone does not establish a particular building-energy saving or a universal thermal value.
Coordinate the project requirements
Share the building location, room use, opening schedule and thermal or acoustic requirements provided by the design team. Include desired finishes and any exposure conditions that need to be considered.
Request a system comparison
Ask ROTA to set out the proposed frame and glazing combination alongside the relevant performance information. Compare documented assemblies rather than generic promises about cooling costs.
