Hospital & Bed Lifts in Nigeria
Plan vertical movement around the actual bed or stretcher and the people who accompany it. ROTA welcomes hospital lift enquiries for healthcare building projects in Nigeria.
Design around the movement route
A hospital lift brief should consider the route from a ward or treatment area to the landing, into the cabin and out at the destination. Cabin dimensions, door openings and turning space matter alongside the rated load.
Provide the overall dimensions of the intended bed or stretcher, including equipment that normally travels with it. Explain how many accompanying people need to be considered and how different floors will use the lift.
Separate the required functions
Bed transport, general visitor movement and goods movement can have different operational requirements. Describe the expected use rather than assuming a standard passenger-lift layout is sufficient for all hospital functions.
Finishes and operating requirements
Discuss surfaces, cleaning compatibility, controls, lighting and the building’s power-continuity plan. Identify the actual surface materials and any specialised performance or control requirements in the selected model’s specification.
Prepare a healthcare lift enquiry
Share the project location, floor plans, stops and clinical circulation requirements. Ask for the proposed dimensions, building interfaces, handover documentation and support arrangements to be stated in the quotation.
